Terms of Service

Welcome to Wandori. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Wandori Labs ("Wandori," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Wandori mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using Wandori, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may sign in using email or a third-party provider (Apple or Google); your use of those providers is subject to their own terms.

3. How Wandori works: location and place verification

Wandori is built around real places. When you publish a post, the Service records your device's location at the time of capture to verify that your content is genuinely tied to the place it represents. You agree not to falsify, spoof, or otherwise manipulate your location or your device's sensors to misrepresent where content was created. Doing so is a violation of these Terms and may result in removal of content or termination of your account.

4. Your content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, captions, and other content you create and publish ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

License you grant to us

To operate the Service, you grant Wandori a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for example, to re-encode video for playback or generate share cards), distribute, and otherwise use Your Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service. This license exists so that we can show your content to other users, associate it with the relevant place, and enable features like sharing. It ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except that (a) content you shared with others may persist where they retained it, and (b) we may retain copies as required by law or for a reasonable period in backup systems.

Your responsibilities

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not violate the law or anyone else's rights. You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of publishing it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that depicts or promotes violence or harm;
• Post content that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation or location;
• Falsify location data, spoof GPS, or otherwise game place verification;
• Upload content you did not create or do not have the rights to share;
• Post spam, or attempt to manipulate discovery, rankings, or metrics;
• Harvest or scrape data, or access the Service through unauthorized automated means;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

6. Content moderation and enforcement

We want Wandori to be a safe place. The Service provides tools to report objectionable content and to block other users. We review reports and may remove content or restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users, and we aim to act on valid reports promptly. However, we do not pre-screen all content and are not responsible for content posted by users.

7. Other users' content

Content on Wandori is created by users, not by us. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any user content, and we make no guarantee about the accuracy, safety, or legality of places, recommendations, or itineraries surfaced through the Service. Use your own judgment, especially when visiting real-world locations. You are responsible for your own safety.

8. AI-generated suggestions

Wandori offers AI-powered itinerary and discovery features. These suggestions are generated automatically and provided for convenience only. They may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not professional advice. Verify important details (such as hours, availability, and safety) independently before relying on them.

9. Creator features (future)

Wandori intends to introduce features that reward creators — for example, commissions tied to content that drives real-world visits. As of the date of these Terms, no monetary payments are made through the Service and we do not collect payment information. If and when creator-payment or paid features launch, we will provide additional terms governing them, and your participation will be optional and subject to those terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the Wandori name, logo, software, design, and features (but excluding Your Content and other users' content) — is owned by Wandori and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

11. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings → Account Management → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will survive.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that content or place information will be accurate. This is a beta product and may contain bugs or change without notice.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wandori and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wandori and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
